What is Hemp?

Hemp is simply a variety of the Cannabis plant that contains less than .3% THC, the psychoactive compound most associated with Cannabis. Hemp is ecologically sustainable to grow, nutrient rich, and contains hundreds of active and beneficial compounds including over 100 distinct Cannabinoids.

What is Hemp Oil?

Hemp oil is a plant extract from the nutrient-rich hemp plant. Hemp oil is produced using a multistep process of selectively filtering and distilling the hundreds of active and beneficial compounds found in hemp(including over 100 Cannabinoids, vitamins and minerals, omega 3 fatty acids, and Terpenes) into a concentrated oil.

Is Hemp Oil Safe?

Yes. Very. Few compounds can be found that are both as biologically active, and benign, as PCR hemp oil.

Does Hemp Oil Contain THC?

No.

Hemp oil is derived from the hemp plant, which contains less than .3% THC.

The distillation process includes multiple steps of filtration, removing the small amount of naturally occurring THC. Blossom is rigorously lab tested no less than 7 times throughout production, to ensure the highest quality and consistency.

What is CBD?

CBD or Cannabidiol is one of over 100 Cannabinoids naturally found in the Hemp plant, and is non-psychoactive. Phytocannabinoid Rich (PCR) Hemp Oil, is made by extracting naturally occurring Cannabinoids from the hemp plant and distilling it into a tincture.

What is "Full Spectrum" hemp oil? Why is it better?

Full spectrum hemp oil, as opposed to an “isolate,” utilizes the entire hemp plant in its distillation, and retains hundreds of active and beneficial compounds including over 100 Cannabinoids, vitamins and minerals, omega 3 fatty acids, and Terpenes naturally found in hemp. Full spectrum can also be referred to as a "whole plant extract."

An “Isolate,” on the other hand, removes all of the healthy nutrients and other naturally occurring Cannabinoids, leaving only CBD.
